As an Enrolled Agent (EA), Robert holds a national tax license awarded and regulated by the US Treasury Department. This designation is earned by demonstrating technical competence in all areas of taxation. Only EAs, CPAs and tax attorneys are authorized to represent taxpayers at all administrative levels of IRS. EAs must adhere to strict ethical standards and must complete ongoing continuing education to maintain their licenses.

In 1994 Robert earned a Series 6 investment license and is a former investment company representative. He has an extensive background in investments, especially mutual funds, and investment taxation. Robert has also held a Vermont real estate license and has extensive expertise in real estate taxation. He has owned and operated residential rental properties for more than three decades.

A Vermont native and graduate of Champlain College, in Burlington, Vermont, with a degree in accounting, Robert resides in South Burlington.
